State of Play is an upcoming American political thriller and film adaptation of the critically acclaimed BBC mini-series State of Play, which first aired on BBC One in 2003. It stars a stellar cast of Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Helen Mirren, Jason Bateman, Robin Wright Penn, Rachel McAdams and Jeff Daniels. The film tells of a journalist's (Crowe) probe into the suspicious death of a Congressman's (Affleck) mistress.

The Soloist [2009]


The Soloist is an forthcoming American drama film which is based on a true story of Nathaniel Ayers, a musical prodigy who developed schizophrenia during his second year at Juilliard School. Ayers becomes homeless in the streets of downtown Los Angeles, playing the violin and the cello. Jamie Foxx portrays Nathaniel Ayers and Robert Downey Jr. portrays Steve Lopez, a Los Angeles Times columnist who discovers Ayers and writes about him in the newspaper.
