Iron Man is an upcoming 2008 superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Iron Man. The film is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow and Samuel L. Jackson. When Tony Stark (Downey) is forced to create a life support suit to keep him alive after an accident he decides to use the technology in his suit to fight crime.
